Got this funky flower today on one of my 2 aquaponic pumpkin vines. Not sure if this is common or not but i have never seen a female flower look like that. https://imgur.com/a/ms9IHbM

you have what is called 'seeds in the blossom'; if you are shooting for perfection such as shape or 2K+ lbs., others will chime in and give you advice; it just means as it says and not everything is 'just right'; you could even go to the home page, type-in seeds in the blossom and see if anything comes up from previous posts. IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII pollinate anyway if it's my only chance, but you may be able to wait for another one without this problem. you have a SIX-lober and the one at top left is deformed; (y'all be sure to click on the + sign to make the image huge)---I wish they were REALLY that big in real life, lol----eg

Really doesn't look that bad-tissue tag with half of one lobe flipped out of line.Nice blossom otherwise. Id pollinate it and see what the blossom scar looks like as it develops. If it is seeds then never mind/that could be a bit of a hernia and I wouldn't go with it if a better one comes along.

The 2185 Brandt had seeds in the blossom when he pollinated it. It seemed to work out for him. I'd give it a go.
