Looking for suggestions on what to do for a foamer starting bout 3 ft down the main from stump? its just starting to ooze alittle and the main is bout 18-20 ft long with lots of secondaries, thks for any suggestions.

I read another post on this subject here. It was suggested to cut a couple secondaries at the stump seeing as how you have lots. I’m sure others will chime in and give you the scoop. I’m still relatively new at this so I wouldn’t run out and start cutting secondaries. Lol. Everyone is probably out having fun right now.

Oozing can be a sign of too much water fed in from roots, or an infection. I would also treat with systemic fungicides like Agri Fos,

clean it up and put fan and sulfur on it try and keep it dry. if it continues to leak, you may want to try and split it at that spot and clean out any rot than a fan and sulfur on the inside. i had my main leak a little but stopped and did not rot.
