BlossomDown

Pumpkin Zone

$200 in prizes. $100 top prize. Seed exchange & seed pick at the end of the year... !

Before I get too busy I want to remind everyone that the blossom-down growing competition is open to everyone who is interested in trying a new challenge. No cut off date for entry. Hopefully we’ll also see some amazing pumpkin entries from Engel & other talented growers who have previously grown blossom-down!

Details here:

It’s not a huge prize but maybe you will win! I will be surprised if our top entry is over 1,000. Have fun, and learn, and end up with a special pumpkin ;)

BTW— Come join the “official” chat for blossom-down growers. Sign up as a premium member on bp. Since I know what it’s like to be broke so I’ll make the minimum prize for the competition $15 same as the premium membership so no worries... just participate & enter a pumpkin & you’ll be covered.

Great! Most of mine will be set up to grow blossom-down. Should have the first set up in a few weeks & will post pics in my diary. Good luck!

Well... there may be only a couple participants this year. Hopefully we’ll get someone sandbag us down to second or third place. Looks like we already won Iowegian! This is my kinda contest!

Lol... really we would like to have some more participation. Watch for diariy updates on the blossom-down kins we are growing!

Results will posted by Halloween or shortly after. I would like to include any that don’t make it (split or whatever) in the results too. ...If there is a blossom-down growing learning curve... we will have to share info on how to get good results.
