I have posted on the tomato forum, but I thought it might be worthwhile to post this on General Discussion. For the past month, I have been busy with acquiring the group of giant(singularvegetables).com's that growers might be growing now or attempting in the future.
My list of sites under control right are: main site
GiantVegetable.com
subsites:
GiantBeet.com GiantBellPepper.com GiantBroccoli.com GiantBushelGourd.com GiantCabbage.com GiantCarrot.com GiantCantaloupe.com GiantCauliflower.com GiantCelery.com GiantCucumber.com GiantEggplant.com GiantFieldPumpkin.com GiantKale.com GiantKohlrabi.com GiantLeek.com GiantLongGourd.com GiantOnion.com GiantParsnip.com GiantRadish.com GiantRutabaga.com GiantTomato.com GiantTurnip.com GiantWatermelon.com

This is a lifetime project for me. There are a few straggler giantvegetable sites that I am working on but there is enough here to develop for a very long time. These sites will be dedicated to the Giant Growers and hopefully to build the base of giant growers amongst the 100,000,000 gardeners in the nation. This is not a small project. I certainly would welcome any help offered. If you have ever thought about developing a website..I can give you access to build any of these sites. Cost to you nothing. You might even be able to gain income from it. Any questions..please feel free to contact me at bnot1962@gmail.com. It can only grow bigger.

thanks for the info James. I looked at GiantSwede.com. I wont be getting this one. It is owned and developed by a lady in Buffalo, Ny. She is a designer. I would guess that the word swede is important to her in reference to nationality not vegetables. The growers in the UK, will just have to start calling them the same thing as Americans. I haven't gotten anywhere near the class of Long(vegetable).com's. The closest I came was contacting the owner of LongGourd.com who also owns GiantSquash.com. I sent him an email offer for the domain name GiantSquash...waiting for a reply. I settled for GiantLongGourd instead of LongGourd. GiantCucumber might have to have to cover both long and heavy. Same with carrot and the rest of the "long" group. GiantBean is owned by an individual in the UK. GiantCorn is owned by an individual in western minnesota and the site redirects to a snack company. GiantArtichoke is owned by an individual in Nevada. It was originally registered in 1999 and shows under development. I hope it hasn't been under development for the past 19 years. GiantSunflower is owned by someone that has privacy enabled. That site redirects to another sunflower site that is well constructed. I haven't contacted any of these. My budget is about spent. And I am sure that many of you know..the grand daddy of the Giant(singularVegetable).com's is GiantPumpkin.com which is owned and developed by Don Langevin. Of all these domain names, it has been by far the most developed for the giant grower world.
