Should I till it in now or wait a month or so and water it in? How much should I use? I'm going to look again, but I didn't see anything on the bag about squash bugs. I'm not expecting to find anything either.

I don't think anyone uses the granular because it costs more and is a lot weaker, the powder is easy to use just mix in a 5 gallon bucket and water it in every few weeks

when i used to use granular Grubex with Imidacloprid in it, i think it was like 3.8 lbs. per 1000 square feet, but do NOT take that word for it---take the time to read the label for cucumber beetles, Google your EXACT product that you HAVE and YES, till it in now according to even an approximation of how much you need--you can always apply it otherwise in another form when you find out more. to have tilled and not have incorporated it would be a waste of tilling effort, to me, anyway. eg

i knew you had said squash bugs in your post, and i said cucumber beetles because THEY were always the most destructive to me. criss-cross. i SAVE squash bugs because i feel sorry for them, being so slow and 'clunky'. Cucumber beetles, though, are my sworn enemies, pausing and then scurrying away when they see me looking at them, lol---
