Who can tell me of a seed or seeds that currently DOES NOT have 2009 Wallace or 1495 Stelts in it. At least 4 generations back.

it must be my NAME, maybe i'm ANNOYING, maybe i'm on peoples' IGNORE lists, but at least i have a seed that fits your description, and you can have a DOZEN for all i care---(lol, i was just happy to see that, 'BOING!', i have a match! i have a match!) my 443.5 Gerry '14 (1207 Young X 1421.5 Stelts):
http://tools.pumpkinfanatic.com/PumpkinsSeedGenetics.php?PN=443.5%20Gerry%202014
and the 648.5 from it:
http://tools.pumpkinfanatic.com/fruitImages/648.5%20Gerry%202016.jpg
so far, two years in a row ((one is un-pictured, but pic is available)'15 and '16), nicely-orange offspring also(!); i just want to see a seed of mine planted elsewhere than in my own patch. if this is just for reference, then that is fine, too. i MAY have others, too--- if negative or no reply = no worries, either; i am easy. pumpkinpal@msn.com or, of course, here.

I was interested in that question also at one time. My short list ended up: 1503 Urena 1778 Daletas 1429 Checkom 1843 Geddes 1730.5 Werner 1694 Meier
Must be many more. Good luck!

Lol Ron out of curiosity why?.. Matt-man has some old seeds up on the auction board but you want a big modern one from a unique lineage?

The biggest ever grown without either 2009 wallace or 1495 Stelts in it is the 1969 Haist 2014. Do not confuse this one with the 1969 Haist 2016 which has 2009 in it. I have a couple of the 2014 seeds...some year will have to germinate them.

Isn't the 1969 haist 1756 Lancaster x 1495 Stelts? If the pollinator doesn't count then wouldn't the 2008 Neptune be the largest without the 2009 or 1495?

is the 1921 weston the biggest ever without either the 2009 or the 1495?

Largest Fruit without 2009 or 1495 is the 2118 Jutras Sqaush

I believe the 2118 has the 282 Scherber in it which is the clone of the 2009 . 1060 was (1478.5 Holub x self) . 1478.5 Holub was (282 Scherber [2009 Wallace] x 615 Cantrell [1578* Holub]) Does that count as the 2009 ?

Good eye, spudder. The 282 is more 2009 than the 2009 seed itself, in that it's 1725 Harp [2009 Wallace] x self; that's 100% 2009 Wallace fruit genetics.
Another spoiler to watch out for is the 1623.5 Wallace (1278 Goetze 2011 x 1725 Harp [2009 Wallace]). where the 2009 was the pollinating plant.
Tom K's list is good except. not 1429 Checkon - it's got 1495.
also 1921 Weston has 1495 too hiding in there.
1843 Geddes 2012 is the biggest I find meeting your criteria, and it's the biggest seed that I can find from the 898 Knauss maternal line, which is exceedingly rare these days.

1381 Checkon is probably every bit as good as the other more common lineages...

1730.5 Werner and 1161 Rodonis would be good ones. Or the Geddes if you could find it, also the 1623.5 Wallace is one that has performed well.

Had a few other interesting genetic lines going as well up until 2010. Currently has 2 special squash genetics with potential. Colorado grower with a couple of screws loose probably.

You beat me to it, Marc. I found few more but not many. Here are the top few biggest by year that I found (Squash* make the list too):
2017 1308 Sawtelle 981 Grottschereiber 1309* Kline 1147* Steil
2016 1330 Gansert 1238 Sawtelle 1403* Haist 1511.5* Haist
2015 1714.1 Lueders 1438 Horton 1338 Sawtelle 1269 Brownwell 1533* Kline 1349* Oliver
2014 1725.5 Haist 1425.5 Alberts 1421.5* Jutras 1362* Pugh
2013 1783.5 Stevens 1746.5 Lancaster 1684.3 Schierding 1548.5 Brownell 1264* Pierpont 1233* Hunt
2012 1843 Geddes 1778.5 Daletas 1730 Werner 1694 Meier
A long list in 2011; and everything from 2010 and before, of course.

Most of the above are still pretty closely related to the 2009 or 1495, in that all the major fruit lately are a mix of only a few ancestors. Go one/two/three generations back and everything is some large proportion of: 1385 Jutras (esp 1725 Harp), 1161/1566 Rodonis, 1381 Checkon, 1068 Wallace, 998.6/1231 Pukos (or 1400 Eaton/LaRue generally), 1370 Rose, 895.5* Hester on the squash side, and a few others.
Moving forward with selections from that mix seems like a good plan really. Every seed is still different and there's a lot of diversity still in existence.

But... There are really only 3-4 maternal lines left: 845 Bobier (and it's mom the 935 Lloyd) 846 Calai 898 Knauss and 895.5* Hester
That has been the case for many years, but we may be about to lose a maternal line: 898 Knauss does not appear in the maternal lines of any major seeds/fruit in 2017.
Anyone looking to do some genetic diversity crosses may want to consider these seeds to save the 898 Knauss maternal line:
1369 Breznick 2017 (1710 Breznick 2014 x 1585.5 Werner 2014)
1549.5 Urena 2016 (991 Urena 2005 x 2145.5 McMullen 2015)
1710 Breznick 2014 (1843.5 Geddes 2012 x 1530.5 Breznick 2013) and offspring: http://tools.pumpkinfanatic.com/FruitProgeny.php?FruitName=1843.5%20Geddes%202012
1204 Bowman 2014 (1689 Jutras 2007 x 1421.5 Stelts 2009)
1843.5 Geddes 2012 (1140.2 Finders 2011 x 1704 Urena 2011) and offspring: http://tools.pumpkinfanatic.com/FruitProgeny.php?FruitName=1843.5%20Geddes%202012

Ron, I have a 1505.5 Haist 2012 x 1462 Gibson 07 which was a perfectly controlled cross and both plants were very good plants... The Haist was white the Gibson was very orange. Anyhow it was only 300 lbs or so... but not bad for being squeezed between two other plants and being allowed only 60 leaves or so!

Interestingly— it meets those specifications. Grown in 2017... with no 1495 or 2009 in it...!
