Can anyone (Ken) tell me why when I post photos from my iPad, they are inverted to upside down when they show up in my diary?
The photos are certainly not taken upside sow so why are they posting that way? Resolution too high? Any ideas, has anyone else had this happen?
Thanks/Glenn

With my android phone i have to hold my phone in a landscape position. So if you are holding your phone upright when taking a picture you need to turn it counterclockwise 1/4 turn and then take your picture. Do a few practice posts to get the hang of it !!!

Barbeetoo - no I’m not using the app, will that fix it?
Chris - tried that and both photos posted upside down.
Thanks, both of you for the help.

I have an iphone 6S. When I post using the internet browser on my phone, the pics turn sideways/upside down. When I post using the BP app, they post fine. So who knows?

Hey Glen... I have to edit the pics (rotate, or modify) then save em, that's the only way I can get my I pad to post them correctly with any certainty. Check the mini view window when uploading to make sure, the mini upload picture will show you what its going to look like/ how its going to come out...
Technically speaking, I think there is a hidden picture-direction info in the software which gets activated/deactivated. Re-saving the picture sets the direction/ resets the hidden picture info. But regardless of the reason.... this is what works for me.

Thank Jay and Glen, I’ll give it the college try. My wife thinks it’s because the resolution is too high, and not formatting correctly so you might be onto someth8ng Glen, and I dumped the app awhile back as it didn’t seem to work that great.

Barbeetoo, would you mind posting a link to the bigpumpkins app? I can’t find it, and looked on the Apple Store in Canada & the USA.
Thanks/Glenn

I use the app only to post to my diary. Other than that, nothing works on it for me.

Thanks. I’m resaving my photos in a smaller file size, for posting in my diary and that seems to work correcting the upside down-ness. I found the app and will try it and post a normal higher resolution photo and see how that works. Thanks again for all the suggestions, I use my iPad for almost everything, so this helps.

I took my pictures on landscape on my old iphone but I still have to put them on the computer because they are not in Jpeg. My new iphone 10 is now taking photos to large so I've found an old camera. I will try it next week so look forward to an upside down inside out diary entry Ian

You know I follow your diary, so I’ll be watching. I don’t want photos of my 1949 Paton to be upside down Ian, or do I?

I did think about posting all of them but the images were to big and I don't have the brains to make them smaller. Ian

I am already making plans for Green Bay next year. Hopefully what happens at Lambeau Field stays at Lambau Field. I need to buy some Vikings apparel. Next GPC convention is going to be fun...hoping to see lots of Minnesota,Illinois, Iowa, Michigan growers there. I have plans for 4 cases of Warsteiner Dunkel beer to be consumed at the event. Sent a message to Wizzy...might have to have the beer tasting event.
