That was one of my first posts on this site. I was only 10 years old when I made that post in January 2008. Probably too young to even be on the internet but regardless I found my way onto this site and into a hobby that I'm still hooked on 10 years later. I think the thing that's kept me in this hobby isn't so much the pumpkins but rather the people who grow them. The generosity of this community goes so much further than just growing giants, even during the ups and downs of life there has always been someone here I could talk to and ask for advice. Growing the pumpkins has been pretty cool, too. ;)

Thanks for being part of these past 10 years and cheers to the next 10.

Great to hear that you have stuck with it Jordan. You have been with it for ten years already! Growing things can be a big source of happiness and joy. It is great to have an interest in something like gardening, it is a simple pleasure that grounds us. So many people today live only in a virtual world. They would prefer to raise crops on a farming simulator game. We do the real thing!

no one knows better than ron and i what you are doing will pay off in spades down the road.we found many failures along the way.

no one and, i mean no one, starts out on top in this hobby(even with help they must evolve each year to continue growth)
