Peter,
Weist du schon, welche Samen du pflanzen wirst? Wie viele Pflanzen insgesamt?
Viele Grüße,
Martin

Danke Martin !
Ist der Nachkomme den Du meinst der "1005 Jenkins"(=color and shape)? - Do you know the cross of the 1005 Jenkins (= 878Beauchemin x ? )? By the way: in which year the 878 has been grown?
I`ll have 3 patches next year (maximum 4). But I don`t know which seeds I`ll plant. I`ll be on vacation the next two weeks and I think I`ll have enough time to think over the crosses for my 2004 season.

A big thank you to the IPGA! I'll try my best to give it a good home in my new patch. When do you normally send them out?

Thank you Werner for your congrats. I hope not to grow the second biggest pumpkin in Germany, but I hope to grow the second biggest of the world ....haha! - Peter
P.S:
Does anyone know the "male flowers" which come into question for pollinaton of the 1005 Jenkins (open = ? ).

"Open" means your guess is as good as mine. I pollinated the 1005 after I noticed the flower was open for a couple hours. I didn't bother keeping records of the males because I knew it was a good chance it was already a open pollinated.
