Sounding a little selfish here. Ken and John are currently trying to finish up BPTV. Along with keeping this website going. Plus doing the average holiday stuff, I imagine they are very busy. Shannon

Well, first of all Ken and John said the seeds would be available in December. They did NOT set a specific date. They do this part time as a service for us, out of the goodness of there hearts. I am sure, when all the seeds get sorted, packaged, and all the data gets into the computer (I'm tired just thinking about it) they will come online. Even if it takes til February, we will just have to wait. Try to be patient.

if you're going to plant those seeds, i don't see why it would be a problem. can't do it in the snow. unless........ hmmmm.... were you going to trade them?

Clinton, you of all people should realize how difficult it is to update a websight. Even after Ken and John asked you to take yours down... it is still up.
ps. Why do you keep posting this type of info here. Just send an email to ken or john and ask them...?

Spring is a long way off. The seeds page will be up in plenty of time I'm sure.
Ken and John have been supportive of me. Please don't use my name when you complain about them.

I am in the process of organizing the "first batch" of seeds right now. I am also trying to respond to all of the emails I got from growers asking about donating. Please be patient this is very time consuming.
To save time, we are asking donating growers to pre-package their seeds two per pack and mail them in. We will then put the labels on them. Be sure and check with me before sending your seeds though or they may never make it on the site.
BTW, we held off until December to help Brent's site get started.

Ken, you guys always do a great job, far above the call of duty. We all appreciate it. Take your time and enjoy the holiday. No one has any problems waiting awhile.

Free web site, no membership charge, free seeds and consequently also a lot of work for Ken and John, I think that we can wait for seeds till January… February or March: what is the problem? Paolo

Clinton, we all make mistakes. I've made my fair share in the past and I'm sure we all have. The difference between someone who really doesn't care and someone who does is the fact that they try to fix their mistakes, learn from them, and become a better person as a result of the them.
If you need help taking the site down and even making a new one, I would be happy to help you write a new one provided you do some of the work yourself.
I may not have been a member here very long, but I know for a fact that Ken and John work very hard keeping this site up and running free of charge for us! They do this for us as well as for their own interests in pumpkin growing. The seeds aren't going anywhere.
I'm just glad to be able to have a place to go where I can learn from the more experienced growers and maybe help others once I have a few seasons under my belt....and you should be too!
Thank you Ken and John and all the members who make this site so great! If costs ever become an issue I'm sure we all would be willing to help you keep this site up and running.
Sorry for the rambling...just wanted you guys to know how much new members like myself appreciate your hard work.
Happy Holidays!
Brian

Clinton...you're sure stirring things up a bit here lately. How about taking a break and wait until Santy Claus comes or you're not gonna get many toys this year.

Clinton if you were old enough to have a job you would know that people have to work and do this when they have the time. Ken and John are awesome with giving us this site.
