            | Duncan | seattle | Have you seen the front cover of Rupps seed catalog? I like the items they classified as number 4.
Looks like they will have a white cinderella pumpkin... looks larger than normal.

How about the pumpkin that is in a shape of a watermelon with minimal white specs.

Also ... I think they are trying for a new hybird squash ... AG variety.

            | Engel's Great Pumpkins and Carvings | Menomonie, WI ([email protected]) | The large white one you are refering to looks like a Valenciano. It is a C Maxima... The one with the shape of the watermelon and white spots, looks like some banana squash cross. Then again it looks like a 501.5 beachy. The one I am interested in is the Cotton Candy white one. Wish they sold in smaller quantities since they definetly have the best pumpkins varieties out there.

            | Snake Oil | Pumpkintown, SC | Rainydays, just for clarification, the Valenciano is a slightly smaller(though similarly shaped) specimen than this "work in progress" example on the Rupp cover. Also, just for info, there is another similar specimen(though not sold by Rupp) with a yellow shell, known as the "Holloween in Paris". I too love those flat ones. BF
PS. If you want to grow Cinderellas, be aware, there are several different strains to choose from, with the variances being in color richness, size and sutures. So read the descriptions and size estimations in your catalogues.
