Here is a complete list of all the rules of the giant pepper contest.

1. all peppers must be either Big jim or big bertha varieties.

2. All peppers must be weighed or meadured accuratly.

3.All participants must have an up to date diary on how their peppers are doing.

4.All participants must have fun.

5. The deadline for a complete list of participants will be 4/26/04 depending on weather.

If you would like to participate in this contest type in yes. Next you need to type ( B ) if you are growing Big Berthas or (BJ) for big Jims. Example yes: BJ. I hope ya all enjoy the contest. Have a HAPPY and safe Thanksgiving!

I will make everyone a deal... I will grow the Big Jims this winter, and when I get some long pods, I will take the seeds out of the longest ones, and let everyone grow those for the contest. But I can't say I will have any for sure untill they are all dry and in my hands. if everyone likes this Idea, I will Start the plants soon...

So what do you all think about this?!?

I have found out that you can buy Big Bertha seeds from anywhere you buy your gardening supplies. I believe you can find them at Home-depot. This may not be a good time of year to find them but I will look for them this week.
