            | Thomas | Okla | Hello to EveryoneAtlantic Giant Pumpkin Growing is not a very big thing in Oklahoma yet. As the Current State of Oklahoma Record Holder for Giant Pumpkins, I have been asked to do a presentation at the State of Oklahoma Annual Cucurbits Meeting this year on Growing Giant Pumpkins. I will be doing a Presentation using PowerPoint to help Promote growing Atlantic Giants. I basically need an assortment of pictures showing about every stage during the growing season. From the time seeds are first prepared, to when plants are transplanted till time to weighoff. I am needing to find some pictures showing the difference between Male & Female Blooms, and Lobes and the Pollination process. I also need a very defined picture showing a plant in a X-mas Tree Pattern with secondaries. Also pictures showing any misting/watering systems used, shade structures and any other pictures that can be used to help with my presentation. I also need some pictures of sculptured pumpkins done at the weighoffs. There are a lot of pictures that growers have put in their diaries and photo galleries on bigpumpkins, but I will not use anyone's pictures without their permission. Also pictures of the World Record Pumpkins from the past 3 years, along with Whittier's big one this year, would be the starting point of the presentation.
I would appreciate any help that any grower would be able to provide me with.
 Thank You
 Thomas Hathorn

            | svrichb | South Hill, Virginia | Thomas,
Feel free to use anything from my rather lengthy diaries. No pictures of any giants or beautifully maintained patches but plenty of mildew, bug, root knot pics, you know, all the bad stuff:)

You need to include the Pumpkin Boat race pics that baseball7 posted in the gallery...those are classics.
