            | steelydave | Webster, NY | Steve, I don't know the exact dates. Drew Papez would have more information. Essentially it is a pumpkin symposium where they have speakers talking about growing pumpkins, raffles, sales area, and networking where you can talk to other growers about problems. Last year they organized a trip to a local dinner theater for those interested. It was a good time, and I highly recommend it. | 11/25/2003 10:57:26 AM |

            | JMattW | Omaha, NE (N41-15-42 ) | Dates are March 27th and 28th. I've been told by the Port Elgin people that it is at the Americana Hotel, but a call to the hotel says that they don't have final reservations made for the facility. I'm looking forward to making my first trip this year. | 11/25/2003 11:08:28 AM |

not words to put into a sentence concerning this gathering, unless she's a pumpkin grower, lol. from the minute you get there until you leave it's nothing but pumpkins. Definately the biggest and best pumpkin meeting there is.

            | JMattW | Omaha, NE (N41-15-42 ) | For those of you that haven't been up that way, there are a bunch of great vineyards within 30-60 minutes of Niagara Falls. My wife and I happened upon a website last summer http://www.wineroute.com when we were trying to decide where to vacation. I hadn't even known that one could grow grapes in Canada. We ended up spending a week drinking and touring vineyards. If your a wine drinker, it's something you should thinking about tacking on before or after the seminar. Canada is renowned for their icewines, but there are several vineyards that have excellent cab and cab francs as well. | 11/25/2003 2:38:28 PM |

            | kilrpumpkins | Western Pa. | There's no problem with "wives". There are casinos, outlet stores, the "butterfly" exhibit, gardens, plus lots more to do (besides pumpkins!)
