            | JMattW | Omaha, NE (N41-15-42 ) | I got a bunch of free molasses from a cattle feed supplier. What dilution should I use, and will it clog a hose end sprayer? Hoping to save myself some headaches by asking first.
 Thanks,

 Matt

            | Engel's Great Pumpkins and Carvings | Menomonie, WI ([email protected]) | I use 2 oz to a gallon of water, as a foliar feed in the summer. If the water is cold it will make the molasses hard to dissolve. I would think you would be able to apply it at a much heavier rate for soil applications, possibly 1/2 cup or more to a gallon. If the hose end spayer clogs simply run it under hot water. Shannon | 11/25/2003 12:15:17 PM |
