            | Urban Farmer (Frantz) | No Place Special | I have had a few inquires about next years contests and have given the subject much thought. I have decided that I will be too busy with home projects and such this winter and next spring that I would not be able to give these contests the attention they require and deserve. In addition, I will be focusing as much attention as I can on "Growing" these things and will just not have the time available to manage the contests. I am not sure if these contests were viewed as successful or not but if the feedback to this post indicates that many would like to continue with them, I would like to find a capable volunteer. A big thanks to everyone who participated this year and gave it a shot and a bigger thanks to all of those who made prize donations to the contests! Mike Frantz | 11/14/2003 10:20:30 PM |
            | Nic Welty | That State Up North | I am as bussy as anyone, but squash rule. There will be a squash contest next year if I have to do it myself. I will be happy to supply the seeds for anyone who wants a true green shot at 1000+, and I will also supply prizes, and look for anyone else willing to help out. I am swamped with school until Dec 16, after that, look for plans for 2004 great green squash contest. I want to make this a worldwide event, with the foccus being pure entertainment, and having fun growing. Give me some time to come up with some good ideas for this, I can scheme a good plan or two.
email me if you are interested in helping organize a fun green time for all

            | svrichb | South Hill, Virginia | I think I could run it fairly easily through SeedOutlet.com unless someone else is dying to do it. | 11/17/2003 9:55:37 PM |
