            | Nic Welty | That State Up North | Congratulations true green competetors, first class job by all, sorry Zach you didn't break your old state record, that is why there is next year. Great to see the increased interest in true green, and more big green fruit this year than ever before. I hope you all grow some true greens next year. And I also hope more of you plan to try your luck at growing a true green fruit. It is lots of fun, and adds a little variety to life. Thanks a bunch Mike for organizing this. Where do I sign up to donate seeds for next year's true green contest prizes?
heres to giant cucurbita maxima of all creed and color!

            | Tree Doctor | Mulino, Oregon | Hey Mike, what about Steve Razo (BigRaggu) and his 980? | 11/13/2003 8:24:20 PM |

            | Urban Farmer (Frantz) | No Place Special | Steve Razo is one of the nicest guys I have ever known. His Squash was fantastic but his diary did not meet the requirements of the contest. It wasn't what I wanted to do, but I had to DQ him. With all the time he spent growing that monster squash, he prob didn't have time to post! | 11/13/2003 9:43:28 PM |

            | Clarence | Midwest | Thanks Nic, I will break it next year !!! Zach | 11/14/2003 8:33:27 AM |

            | BrentW | Utah ([email protected]) | Congrats squash growers! I certainly have a new found respect for you growers. This was my first year growing squash and what a challenge it was!
Mike, I'd be interested to see a list of sizes for all participants from the contest even if they didn't place per your list above. Ragu, Gads, Nic I assume? There were some real beauties grown in this contest.

It may also be interesting for some, to see the BP.Com handles that are associated with each grower.

Thanks again for a fun contest... even if my squash aspirations did fizzle.
