Bantam

Tipp City, Ohio

Ok, So I have not grown anything larger than my first year with catalog seeds of 184 lbs in 2001. 2002 too dry. 2003 Too Wet. I figure next year it is my turn. But, also I am thinking Bantam means miniature in size. (ie. as in chickens.....Standard size and Bantams)

So my question is.....
A) Do I change my handle from Bantam to Giant? or something else?
B) Do I leave it, since I have used it for the past 2+ years?
C) Do I quit trying to grow the AG's and just go for Jack-Be-Littles?

I'll go with B) Keep using Bantam and keep growing AG's
So far the name bigen' hasn't got me what i'm after. The name was for what the pumpkins were supposed to be but their not listening. Give it another 10 years.
Good Luck in 04 Dave

Brigitte

i just use brigitte as my screen name, since that's my real name as well. as far as i know, it hasn't had any effect on the size of the pumpkins i grow.

rainydays for a screen name, for example, might affect the pumpkins. they'll all blow up from too much water.
and sasquash...that will just grow you hairy green blobs.
bantam would grow you little ones.
wayne changes his screen name so much, he'll probably grow a little of everything.
tomman includes the growers name, and "man", so he'll grow mature fruit (or maybe it's just wish for what he wants to be...a man).
joze....he'll grow a sexy spanish looking muchacha pumpkin.
ben bortner....well he'll just grow stuff, because his screen name has no effect. although he could have called himself benbortner, but since he split the two names apart, maybe that accounted for his fruit all splitting this year.

it's winter...i'm thinking too much....anyone got any more to add?

lol.

So for now I guess I will stay with Bantam. But now I am thinking.....I have a Tipp City address. Tipp means point(actually it is for the Tippacanoe Indians) and points means dots. So following this; dots do not weigh much last time I checked. So.........Should I move?????

Tom,
That must have been my problem, living in Canal Winchester
Canal= water & one patch flooded out
Winchester= gun & one patch blew up every pumpkin.
Sounds like I'm screwed so I might as well move to Intercourse, Pennsylvania.....Paul
