That can be the only explanation for the unhappy, disgruntled posts as of late. We all disagree from time to time, we all have our own opinions that we're entitled to and we all horse around in fun on a regular bases. We also share huge amounts of information on here and that by far outweighs the times that we are unhappy. Each and every one of us knows the value of the site. We also know that we have grown and advanced the hobby due in great part to the knowledge of the members themselves. Without the people and the knowledge we most likely would not be seeing the huge weights of the past few years by so many new and experienced growers alike. We owe it to Ken and John to uphold the mission of this site, we all know how lost we'd be without it. I have been guilty as anyone else of posting in anger and when I calmed down, I realized I should not have put it out there. My words were not good for the site or anyone else, especially myself. I've learned from those few times that I posted in anger to not do it anymore, all it does is make the site look bad to newcomers and the heavy hitters alike. I guess what I'm trying to say is we have something incredible here at BP. We owe alot to this site, Ken and John and each and every member. Perhaps we should keep this in mind in the off season when emotions run high. We've got a good thing here and it can be even better. What we do is unique and so is each and every member. Respect that, and together we can all continue to be succesful as growers and as a community at BP.

i agree with the eclipse...and everything else said above. i lay back on a lot but read pretty much everything...and it's been weird stuff going on lately. even brothers and sisters get mad and fight every-so often, but they get over it and dont abandon each other over little things. i have been seeing lots of little things adding up and blowing up things they shouldnt.

I couldn't agree more. And for the record, you are getting up to hitter designation yourself there. At least by my standards anyway.

But I'm sorry, I don't buy into the eclipse part. It's just the end of a very wet & stressful season. And to see so 14 1000Lb+ pumpkins at Topsfield when I thought I has a great excuse (rain), is rather frustrating! LOL

We'll make it through the winter. Ugly changes & all. And by spring 2004, we'll have all forgotten all about it.
