            | Sophie A. | Esneux / Lige / BELGIUM | I just would like to know what you are doing with tons of pumpkin flesh? Are you cooking something or not? Or the flesh is toxic with all the fertilizers?
My husband is disgusted by pumpkin soup, pumpkin pie, pumpkin fries, pumpkin jam ...

Process it and throw it in the freezer. Just when your hubby thinks the pumpkin treats are over, surprise him with "kilr pumpkin crunch!" (Can be found in the recipe section!)

            | docgipe | Montoursville, PA | I consider the monster fruit to be composted back to the soil from whence it came. Smaller and manageable pie pumpkins are easier to get into a pie or other desert. In my opinion they taste better.
Hey I swirled a little pie filling into a creamy rice pudding. Yum yum I don't want five hundred or more pounds of pumpkin anything. I turn them into jack-o-lanterns and feed the failing fruit back to the soil when it fails.

            | Bart | Wallingford,CT | My son is into home brew beer. He has brought a few bottles over and I have to admit....some of it is not bad. He can't wait to get his hands on my pumpkin and render it into atlantic giant BEER. I expect my pumpkin will be returned in a brown bottles and not wasted in the compost pile. | 11/6/2003 5:34:00 PM |
