            | Buddy G | Greene County, Pa. | I was wondering.1. I want to till up a new patch that can be 22'x 25',But in the summer months the sun starts hitting this area soon as it comes up, and stops hitting it (because of the house) at about 7:00 PM. Would this not be a good spot? This is a good spot in all other areas because the main direction of the wind is blocked by the house.2. Also since this area has never been tilled before it has a very small amount of top soil, with a clay base. What would be the best way to spice it up just to get by for the next growing year? | 11/4/2003 9:45:37 AM |
            | stewee | Wood River, Nebraska | Great spot with full sun. I suggest the following:
 1) soil test!
 2) Lots of leaves and manure!
