Last season I had seeds in the lobes of my flowers. Is this because of the seed being bad? or the weather or something? I'm thinking about saving seed from my "470" cucurbita for next year which was lopsided from this sort of thing that happened. Will the seed produce the same resaults being lopsided like before, or no?

The shape of the pumpkin caused by improper or imcomplete polination will not affect the good seed in a fruit. An other thing that may cause strange happenings is the use of hormones????? I do not know if seed could be effected by use of hormones.

My 534 andrews had seeds in the blossom. I never thought it would take but it did! and produced a beautiful green fruit! with normal seeds!

Im going to get the seeds this thursday, so I will plant some next year and watch the lobes to see what happens. I will pull the seeds from the side of the pumpkin that is filled out just in case. Thanks for your help guys.
