            | Pumpkin Doug | Ypsilanti Michigan | Last season I had seeds in the lobes of my flowers. Is this because of the seed being bad? or the weather or something? I'm thinking about saving seed from my "470" cucurbita for next year which was lopsided from this sort of thing that happened. Will the seed produce the same resaults being lopsided like before, or no? | 11/3/2003 9:11:37 AM |

            | docgipe | Montoursville, PA | The shape of the pumpkin caused by improper or imcomplete polination will not affect the good seed in a fruit. An other thing that may cause strange happenings is the use of hormones????? I do not know if seed could be effected by use of hormones. | 11/3/2003 10:10:58 AM |
