I would like to nominate Tiller's Dragon..His artistic ability and creativity is unspeakable... I would love to see a few day time pictures to see more detail. Plus i would like to know how many hours that baby took to carve. Shannon

Here, here - I was going to post the same message! Very, very nice, very, very creative too! Now I have an idea for what to do with the pear shaped AGs. But I'll never acheive such detail! Congrats to you Tiller!

Thanks everyone, I added a few more pics to the diary today. Got a couple in the day while it was still frozen and a couple more tonight. It was lit up with a mechanics drop lite with a red 40 watt bulb inside. The anti-red-eye feature of the camera really made it look bright in one of those. I spent about 4½ hours carving both fruit and pulling seeds. I should have started earlier. It seemed like the longer I worked on it the more I saw in it. There's even more in there but I'm done, that's all thats getting out of this one.

Tiller's got my vote too. Many good carvings make us smile. The Dragon did that, but it left me awestruck at the same time. Dragons are fanciful like most carvings. But the minds eye knows what it should look like. And it did. The pumpkin looked like it lent itself well to this design which is good. But boy that must have taken some serious time & talent to look this *real*. Absolutely the most realistic rendering I saw this year.
Great job!
