there are a few elk farms in my area, I thought I might try getting some manure for my patch. Is anyone using it? thoughts? good/bad? Doug Gardner

That question is not answered in the books. I would not be concerned if you can get it. It is manure. Go for it.

Any animal that eats vegetable matter should be ok. Elk, Moose, Horse, cow. When it comes to chickens, ducks and turkeys that a differant matter. Deano

every time i think of a guy/gal with a phd, in a white lab coat,examining poop,,,i just smile!!! digging out a old rusted sewer house trap dosent seem like it was so bad! hard,,,but not so bad.
