I noticed alot of my seeds were cracked as I was getting them ready to send em out. Will this hurt anything?

as long as the endosperm (inside "meat") isn't damaged then they're fine

I opened my 463 today and had alot of cracked seeds also, they are cracked on the flat sides not on the edges like they were sprouting. What causes this??

Thanks Steve

I read somewhere that white seeds are missing a second layer of the seed coat. That layer (when present) makes for tan seeds. Some tan seeds are subject to those cracks. Others are not. It seems to me the tan seeds with cracks will germinate better than those without. Somewhere in the gentics of AG's is the "switch" that determins whether the second tan layer will be present & also how well it fits the growing seed. Tight fit = cracks. Cracks = better water absorbtion which hastens germination.

That's my best guess at any rate. ;O)
