sorry for ruining your post Shannon...i unknowingly changed the topic and turned what should have been an informative straight forward post into a retarded argument...from now on I'll make new posts on ideas i get from existing ones. You guys are not the only ones I piss off with my constant questioning...my parents can't take it either.

We just see things slightly differently...you guys want to grow the biggest fruit period and I want to grow big ones, but also try to figure out genetics the best I can.

We all do it sometimes, You are forgiven just this once. :) You do bring up some pretty good questions. I think it all has to do with all the factors combined. Plus it has something to do with those no good for nothing Squash people and the pumpkin conspiracy.
