I am used to this, being a Red Sox's, and Buffalo Bills fan! They have Joe Torre, and we have Grady Little, that's the bottom line! I had a bad feeling, when we had our lefty ready, and he stuck with pedro. Maybe some day we will beat the "evil" empire?

Thank You Boston. What a series!

With flying spirits & heavy eyes, we type up our condolences to the Boston fans & thank them for a great series. But the Dynasty lives to see another day.

If we hadn't pulled out the win, I would have been cheering for Boston. No other team needs or deserves it more.

I could have gone to that game & despite my cold, wish I had. There is no experience in the world like being at a Post Season Yankees game on River St. The real deal fans are still in attendance. The air is filled with electricity so strong you can see & smell the sparks flying all around (you wouldn't hear a bomb go off!). The World Series will come close. But with all the favors bestowed on the seating arrangement for George's cronies, the WS makes for a much more subdued gathering. Too many suits in limos. Not enough fans in Fords.

I love the ghosts of October!

Ron, I agree. Torre was superb as usual. Who else could look so good while taking Clemens & Wells out of the fire? Pedro Martinez was brilliant on the mound (for a head hunting hot headed loser). But there has been & may never be another closer of the Rivera caliber. His class, poise & style are exceeded only be his arm.

And true to the Yankees post season baseball legacy, the ghosts of October always strike where & when an opponent least suspects it. Thank you Aaron Boone. The ghosts help create another unlikely hero at the expense of a worthy adversary. Who as usual, never even saw it coming.

Please don't let's belittle ourselve's with statements like "yankees suck". To suggest the most successful athletic franchise in the history of the world "sucks" is like flushing 723 Bobiers down the toilet. Just plain dumb.

What a game.

I hate the Yankees! I was was pulling for the Bo-Sox.
Anybody can buy a team.
Could you loose 119 and still call yourself a fan?
Kahuna is long time suffering with Detroit.
