We have rain forest conditions happening now on the West Coast and need advice. Much more rain is expected for days, and growth all but seems to be done. Do we cut the fruit now to avoid any issues or do we leave them till the plant is all gone? Pumpkins are uncovered but are off the ground.

Only you guys will know if they are still growing.
For the majority of us the season is already over & fall prep has begun.
If they have lasted this long one more storm should not make a difference. You will have to cut them off eventually though....
Have you all organized your weigh-off alredy?

Thanks. We have decided to cut them off and display them until the weigh off on October 25th. From the 9 of us that started out, there will be only 5 of us with any fruit to weigh.
