Well I know that is is large! The tallest forklift that they had to build it went to 10 feet. they had to cut off the top of the pole and put the pumpkins on then re attach the top with the third pumpkin on it.....

That's a thousand pound stack, more or less. I would think there would need to be a cental pole and support platforms between the fruit...or the bottom one is filled with sand and then the second one is added and so on. The center pole alone would not seem to be enough to stop failure by compression.

Great job Cully!

If you look close there are "platforms" between each layer these are connected to the main pole. And thousand pound stack says the least... I think it may be closer to a one ton stack. The bottom was 1000+ but im not sure of the rest.

Scott Cully set a new guiness book world record with this carved totem pole. 2700 lbs of pumpkin... A sight to see.

The work of an absolutely outstanding sculpter. Amazing skill displayed here. Do not think Cully comes here. How can we appreciate him in a way he will see or hear us? If anyone has an address or E on Cully send it to me.
