My favorite answers to the question, How DID you grow it so big ?
#1 I don't know, it just grew there. #2 I grew it on top of an artisian well. #3 Milk of course, lots of it, 3 or 4 gallons a day. #4 Beer is a must, heavy dark beer is the best, A 12 pack per day #5 Night fertilizer, every night. Grower must consume a 6 pack of beer. #6 Miracle Grow, absolutely, recommended rate is for peas, were growing pumpkins! use at least a gallon per day straight from the jug. #7 Radiation, yes in moderation, a dozen smoke detector batteries will do wonders. #8 PGH, Pumpkin growth hormone, They sell it at Wal-Mart. #9 Genetic engineering, I just splice in a few genes from a whale. #10 Mind control, Is that real?, Why yes young Skywalker, it weighs 2,800 lbs. #11 I got the seeds from someone named Jack. He was mumbling something about how they were supposed to be bean seeds.

# 21... Thats not a pumpkin.. see this spec of green.. this is a squash....
# 22... I started growing them because I wanted something to stress about after my relaxing summer.
# 24... You should have seen the one that got away..
# 25... Anyone can grow 1000 pounders.. But try and grow 500 pounders year in and year out.. I have that one mastered..

# 36... Pumpkin weight and pie making ability are directly proportional... If it weighs 1000 pounds, you can make 1000 pies...
