i had one go ripe early..0-0-60,,, i waited two weeks after a hole appeared in it. stinky and goooey!!!!! seeds had germinated...rest have white goo in them. the stems were real fat!!! one was a half inch in dia!
should you pull the seed when a hole pops through? the strength of the stems shows me the right stuff to start seeds in is pumpkin goo. has anyone started seeds in pumpkin guts?

yoooaaahhhh, now there's an idea NO ONE has thought of. i wonder if we can freeze the goo (from a HEALTHY, undiseased fruit, of course)---i'm thinking of putting it in a blender and mixing the puree into the seed starting mix.....i have a couple of donor pumpkins that will be up to the task---if anyone else tries this i'd like to hear the results..........................................'pal...

ohhh, and by the weigh, when a hole is discovered, thereby ending that pumpkin's usefulness, that is a good time to remove the seeds, depending on how rotten you like them to get and have to run your fingers through it.....mmmmmmm...'pal
