I got it done! I got it! Three world records in three weekends in a row. Hattrick! What a show. Hard to beat!..........?
The first time the WR in Europe and the first metric ton. What an honor.

Thank you for the many compliments and yours appreciation to me.

I dreamt many years to grow the WR. And I've worked many years to this "project". Now it pays back.

To grow the 2300lbs, I was just doing my job. And now any other must do his job and reach 2400lbs. That's going on! The show has still not arrived at the peak. And if we then even have 2500lbs, we look forward, how we can reach 2600. Go for it!
The crossings are better. We improve our methods every year. And we push this to the maximum.

I had a stressful time the last three weeks. But beautiful time. I get just quite many EMails and I hope I can find time to reply to everyone. But I'm hardly time each have to answer each question.

The three pumpkins remain until November 2 to exhibitions.

Congrats Beni. I'm kind of a history buff, and your achievement this year is truly phenomenal. Other growers since the onset of the "Grower of the Year" have had great years. In fact, Ron Wallace, and Tim Mathison have had great years beyond just their world records in their second, third, etc. fruits. Geneva Emmons in 2001 and Joe Jutras in 2007 ring a bell as well.

Only Norm Ghallager has increased the world record by a higher percentage than you have. In 1984 he took the world record from 493.5 to 612. a 24% increase. At the time our hobby was in its infancy. Certainly in the competitive environment we are in, a 14.4% increase will be difficult to duplicate.

Couple that with having 2 other monsters, and I must say I believe you have completed the most impressive display in our hobby's history. Congrats to you.

I can remember when someone grew three pumpkins over 1000 in the same year. We thought that was incredible. Now we have three over 2000 from one grower. Astounding. Congratulations Beni!
