Well the weigh-off, to put it bluntly incountered alot of problems, the main one being the scales went down and the top 11 pumpkins had to be rushed to the local hospital and weighed on their shipping recieving scales the rush was because they had to be weighed for the 2:30 deadline.
No print-out for top prizes yet(another error) sorry I didn't keep track,
But for us, it was a great day.
Katrina (Mrs. GV) took 1st place with her 698.0 lb squash breaking the previous site record and the provicial record.
I myself took 4th in Squash with a 509lb'er and 8th with my 452lb pumpkin. plus got some great insight on my soil test by an agrologist and I know exactly were this years problems were and how to correct it for next year.
