any sites where a non professional carver can get patterns? i tried a search on this site but didnt find what i know is here.

I recently ran into the same problem. Here is some of what I found. Since AG's are so big, I ordered a "Projecta-Scope" from someone on Ebay. Found out about the scope here ;o) You set the scope on top of the paper patern & the scope projects the image onto a larger piece of paper you hang on the wall. Trace the patern onto the larger paper then onto the pumpkin.

Look at the pumpkin and decided what shape it is before you start. Most of these babies are not round and have features. I will be posting pics of my master pieces as soon as they are sculpted. Shannon
