Ya all better cover them with blankets tonight. They don't mind frost but a freeze can mush the surface.

all my leaves are officially down after last nights freeze here in Illinois. pumpkins are fine and will be covered with blankets again tonight. it was a pretty decent freeze and all the mud at the construction site this morning was frozen solid.

34*F last night just 1 mile in from the coast which keeps us pretty warm. Wondering how inland folks made out.

We ended up with a light frost. The potential was very real for a hard freeze.

My plants are also toast, but the pumpkins are still yellow. Any suggestions to get them to turn orange faster.
