Subject:  How long should I let secondary vines grow?

I have 3 plants and the main vines are around 6' long now. The secondary vines are going crazy! How long should I let them grow before snipping the ends to stop growth??

depends on how much room you got and how old your fruit is, if i have room for my secondarys to grow 15-20 feet let em grow, once the fruit is set you got to remember your not grow leaves anymore so you should start terminating vines starting with the largest secondarys, start teminating vines( i terminate 2 a day) once the fruit takes off, around day 10-15, I like to have all my secondarys teminated by day 35 or so, but i leave the main vine alone, everyone does it a little diffrent though. hope that helps.

I usually terminate mine at 12'. Reguardless of the length of the side vines, I feel Mellows advice is on the mark. Start teminating after fruit set.
