Can I get some yea or hey on if people cut their vines after their pumpkins. Do you cut or not?

well, in case anyone reads this at this late date, it CAN depend on the situation surrounding the stem itself, and if there's a chance that the vine remaining on there is going to be a problem, yes, it must be cut off. i myself like the idea of having just a pumpkin on the end of a vine---no leaves, tendrils, extra little vines protruding, nothing! if this is the case, the fruit can be moved any which way that is necessary to keep the vine loose and manuverable, always a plus! if you cut the vine so close to the stem, however, cut it 1/2-through in one direction, and then the other 1/2-way in the other direction. this will help prevent those pieces of stem material from stripping unnecessarily the outer skin of your vine.......i hope this helps...................'pal
