I just got a phone call from a Pumpkin grower here in New York. At a weigh off yesterday, some growers where talking about a guy in New Hampshire who has a Pumpkin with a estimated weight of over 1,600 lbs. This guy told me that one guy has seen this Pumpkin and it's bigger then Bruce Whittiers 1458. I guess we will all find out if this is true in another week. If it is, God Bless this grower

Your information is reasonably correct! However this one will be challenged by still another in Canada!!!

I predict that there will be atleast one world record pumpkin from Cali, PNW, Ohio, New England, and Canada this year.

I've got them all beat! As soon as the quickrete concret mix sets up inside of my 600 lb. pumpkin it should weigh in close to a ton. The trick is cooling it down so it doesn't cook the pumpkin while it sets. It will all be in my book How To Cheat At Pumpkin Growing When You Can't Beat The Competition Any Other Way. Ok the title still needs some work, but the concrete trick has been perfected.

Sounds promising Tiller. If successful you will have to develop your own chart to estimate weights of pumpkins filled with concrete.

....& once the pumpkin rots off the concrete, could make an "interesting" landscape rock out by the mailbox??...lol!
