My 838 Bobier grew very slow, and stopped growing at just over 200 pounds. Part of the problem could have been my garden etc, but with the same garden, last year I grew a pumpkin more than twice that size.

The 714 and the 838 Bobiers were the same cross as the 723 and 845... Are those the one's you are wondering about Bill?

Well, from what i saw...the 714 did better than the 838 in my area. 714 grew a 10% heavy fruit that weighed in the 700 some lb range but split at the blossom end. The 838 was a nice plant but the fruit just wouldnt grow very fast. Still to early to tell if they will be anything like the 845 or 723.
