Has anyone used this to wrap the pumpkin in for transport to a weigh-off. I have acsess to a whole bunch if I want to wrap it and the pallet so the pumpkin wont shift.

hey dot, it sounds like good idea. I read some where about some trying that for evaporative weight loss reduction of the pumpkin. Not sure if they used srink wrap or Saran wrap, same concept. Whatever works to get'em to the weigh off in one piece.....Dean

Hey Lady, Tony Ciliberto brings his Pumpkins wrapped with Heavy Saran to Altoona. Put it's not toally wrapped solid. I think you need to have a little air flow so the Pumpkin does not get too hot setting out in the sun at the weigh-off. So don't wrap it tight. PumpkinBrat

I would think regular shrink wrap would be a little tighter & a lot cheaper. Places like Grainger, Stapeles, etc. all stock it.

The same person that is using the fork lift for me is bringing the shrink wrap for me. I planned on removing the wrap when I get to the weigh-off. Heaven forbid I stand too close to him when he is wrapping my pumpkin.

Worked well for us when we hauled our 758.5 last year.
