I have heard a few people dry their seeds using a fan. For those of you that do, do you leave the fan on for 24hrs?
Thanks, Ray

The best way to dry is on a screen with the fan blowing for up to two weeks. When dry to touch leave them on the screen for another two weeks. The sead coatings contain moisture that must be dried out befor the seed is placed in continers for cold storage.
I treet all saved seed with a dry fungicide. Some growers oppose this treatment. This becomes an individual choice.
I store in the fridge. Some growers freeze them. After placing in a container I check in a week to see if any moisture has built up in the container. If there is any evidence of moisture I dry them on the screen even longer. Each batch seems to be different but these are the conditions required. Dry to touch and then stays dry in container. You have to check to be sure you are properly dried.
