These past few days I have live trapped two small oppossums who have been digging aroud my pumpkins. Any thoughts, are they trying to burrow into the fruit or what? How many would be in an average size litter? Thanks for info. Bob

Bob. Along the lines of your question, I use a product called Liquid Fence. Has a bad odor that repels about every living creature........works great. Once you spray it, the smell to humans goes away, but it remains highly offensive to animals. If you buy on-line, I know Rosemania.com sells it. I just spray it around the pumpkin itself......a little too expensive to spray the perimeter of the whole patch.

Liquid Fence is a good product. After heavy rains you need to refresh your sprayed areas. Liquid Fence and Deer Off are rotton eggs and hot pepper mixes. Most animals do not like it and shy away from it.
