has anyone measured their pumpkin, then rolled it over and measured it again ? it seems like some of these odd shape fruit could be measured on 3 or 4 different sides. It would be interesting see the results. one way might weight light ... another way might heavy another... still a 3rd might be right on ... ??? since it is weigh off time - i'd like to see some data in regards to this if growers are willing and able. thanks gordon

" if growers are willing " i certainly don't want anyone to endanger their prized fruit and wasn't asking them too. but... if someone has a odd shaped pumpkin that can be measured several different ways ... if you display your fruit with the stem side down. you could also measure it that way... if you've got a not so prized fruit laying around, roll it over and measure it... then that data might be useful in the future.
