Ok, Ok, stop with all the e-mail...

All I'm saying is 1,400+ lbs. and yes from what I know it's still solid.

And NO it is not mine or my wife's pumpkin. (wish it were)

You'll see come Oct. 4th

Well it was a good laugh till I really did get swamped with e-mail including from Joe. However I had already sent an email to him previous apologizing for being an idiot.

No such word on the 652, thought I would take away some pre weigh-off boredom and post growing withdrawls.

Yes it's a gag, and probably the most stupid thing I've done all year, well ok today.

I hope this didn't affect any one trading seed. I apologize for any harm this prank caused and for being an idiot at large. I will however stand behind the 652 Pukos '00 and think it is a great seed to be tried there has been only one pumpkin grown from it and yes it was in fact over 1,000lbs.

Any one that has it and wants to trade e-mail me...

Grape vine rumor and seems a few people know that Joe's 805 seed is producing a monster this year. Not his pumpkin.

Again sorry for being an idiot.

Hey Ernie,

Its all in good fun. Rumors are just what they are. Who knows if they are really true. I can say, and already have said, i like the 783 Daletas seed....i wont go into details why it WILL become more popular this winter...just be prepared guys.

ps... might see only the second 1000+ lb fruit ever grown in WI at the weighoff this Oct 4th....will it be enough for the state record??? it certainly could be close. Still could be a surprise or two in the state....Mr. John Barlow in southern WI....i have not heard one peep from him....
