Harvested my pumpkins today.My goal was 300lbs.Had two pumpkins that weighed 334 and 344.I carried them to church tonight (gotta show them somewhere) and you should have seen the kids.They played all over them.That just made my day.Know i know why we grow these monsters.At least thats what i told the wife.Thanks to all for the help and the seeds.Gotta get back out and start working on the patch.Congrats to everyone and good luck to you who still have them growing.

Truer words were never spoken. My son & I dropped his school's 194 Lber off at Durham CT tonight. We helped Alan Reynolds weigh a 783. It had nothing to do with the weight. The look on the kid's faces is what it's all about here.

Garden State Pumpkins

You got that right!!! Brought it to my sons pre-K school. they immediately climbed in the old truck and hung all over it...the teacher was taken back and looked at me like I was nuts letting em do that...Told her I grew it for the kids and wouldn't start hollerin over they're excitement in seeing it...Made the three years worth it all!!
