I've posted a picture of what a Vole lools like in the Photo Gallery. It can be found in the most recent photos or under Capt.
I included the No. 2 pencil to show its teeth. This mini-woodchuck causes a lot of harm.

Thanks for posting. You had luck to catch them with a rat trap. These critters are quite intelligent, they even avoided my vole traps buried in the tunnel system last time. Only chance to get them - poison.

Someone told me it´s in GE forbidden to use mice- ore ratpoison outside of houses. Consider the food chain.

Wrong information. Look for "Neudorff Wühlmaus Köder", the name is Quiritox, basing on warfarin. They have other products aginst rats also. Outdoor/garden use is allowed.
