i carried my 319 pounder to the middle tn. state fair friday and ya'll should have seen the commotion...i went in and asked if i could get some help to bring in my pumpkin.."just use one of these grocery carts" i was told, i said its not real big but its bigger than that..with a look of disbelief the guy finally wanders outside to my truck and his mouth just fell open..good god what a pumpkin!!! he ran inside and the whole building emptied out behind him to see this giant pumpkin...you would have though i had a goose that lays golden eggs..one guy was quick to tell me the world record was 750 lbs..another took me off to the side and ask me"now if you dont want to tell its ok but...what do you do to get such a big pumpkin???all this over a 319..imagine that..i know i'm just a angry,dumb,redneck hillbilly here on BP but in my small neck of the woods i'm the dang pumpkin king...my daughter won best of show with a 200 pounder also..

Good job, ain't this the best time of the growing season. and I know what you mean we are setting up a display with the wife's 727.0 lb DMG fruit at my job (local resort) and the oohing and aws are the greatest. She's a first year grower and that 727 is making here the most popular person in the city, the only thing I wish is I could pull her away from all the interviews (tv and newspapers) to make my dinner (snicker)

Again enjoy, I had it last year and this year got shadowed by the wife but tickled pink to see her huge accomplishment. I let every one know that "that's my wife that grew that."
