Your post here like mine will make this the hot line of the day.

Yes, you be extremely heroic. ;-) If category 5, 4 or tropical storm there were some victims, that´s the tragedy of isabel. I think it´s time for condolences. To say " My storm is most dangerous than your´s." is in my opinion a big cheek and inappropriate.

I was vacationing in Virginia Beach this week.We were told to evacuate the beach area on Wednesday so we moved to Ocean City MD and were able to get another day vacation in b4 we decided to head for the safety of home. Many people down there are flooded and have no power and officials were saying to prepare to go without power for 7 to 10 days in many areas. It was only a cat 2 but it still did a tremendous amount of damage to the beach areas and flooded a lot of land in off the coast. Ray

It went Southwest of my area and North into Canada. We only had minor wind and rain damage. No flooding of any concern. Should be out of here by this afternoon sometime. Schools are closed but football goes on as usual this evening in this area.

We are getting very high winds. Have not gotten any rain yet.I would say that it went more Northwest then they figured it would.I not going to say where in the clear yet.

Rained very heavy at 6:30AM here in CT for .9" in an hour.
Cleared to full sun by noon. "Blustery" wind but not damaging at all. Now (2PM EDT) it's 82*F & 76% humidity. Got the AC cranking to knock down the humidity in my office.
