You know when your cleaning seeds and some float and some don't, what do you guys think has a tendency to produce larger fruit, sinking seeds, floating seeds, or doesn't matter? Has anyone kept track of their seeds to see which produces the larger ones?

i dont know the answer to this either. but i assume the sinkers have more "plant" mass and water, and less air.

there is no correlation ... it's the genetics inside the seed the count - not the size, shape or ability to float or sink. i'm with McP - they float or sink because they have more air or more mass.
maybe... MAYBE ... floater seeds would be a little slower in the very early stages of growth because they don't have as much energy stored in the seed. but i thinkthe difference would be negligible. once the root is out and taking things in things would even out.
