when i was pulling seeds from some howdens i noticed some seeds did not float....is there a viability difference?

If the seeds sink they must be heavier and therfore produce heavyer pumpkins.lol...sorry could resist.Chris

it's just a matter of how long they've been in the soup i had a sink full of seeds last fall and the ones that didn't float were the ones that were the plumpest, so i like sinkers better!

In many fruit species if you put the seeds in water just after harvest, the sinkers are the good ones. Don't really know if in pumpkins is the same.
